‘Claps won’t pay the bills’

We offer our full support to local NHS workers – RCN nurses who are taking industrial action at St Georges Hospital and the Royal Marsden, and ambulance workers at Bishopsford Rd Ambulance Station.

The disputes are receiving a high level of support from the public. The Government have seriously misjudged the level of public support for NHS workers – it’s entirely reasonable for nurses and other health service workers to ask for fair pay and improved patient safety – funded by the Government – after all they did for us during the pandemic they deserve better!

Below – photos from today’s RCN picket at St George’s. The man with the megaphone is not a hospital worker but a builder from Worcester Park who has been out doing a great job of supporting the pickets for the last two days.
